We are located in the western side of Kenya in East Africa near the Kenya, Uganda border. It is 400 km, north-west of Nairobi. We are honoured that you have expressed interest in studying with us. Bungoma Bible School has a long tradition of teaching, training and mentoring men and women in their pursuit of God's calling for them. We also have a strong commitment to training leaders for all walks of life. We exist to equip leaders for the end time harvest,

BBS is a non-denomination Bible School with the purpose of equipping the saints for the Work of the Ministry. We admit students of any Race, Color, Denomination, Sex, Age and Nationality. No fees charged.

SPONSORSHIP

Though we do not charge fees, your stay here(if you are to be a boarder) will require that you have enough money to take care of your food and other expenses. It is estimated that a student needs at least
KShs. 2,500/= per month to live comfortably. The school requires that you provide evidence on how you will pay for this. You can pay for yourself or find yourself a sponsor. Your sponsor should state how he/she intends to meet your costs of living. Evidence like Bank Statement or any other documents to prove, this is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications for joining the school are simply you should be a Christian, who can read and write either English or Swahili and have a desire of working in the ministry.

WHAT WE OFFER

We offer Certificate course for one year, Diploma two years and Bachelors for four years. Students receive either a Certificate of Completion for one year course, diploma in church ministries or Bachelors after successfully completing the required courses. These classes are taught by qualified pastors and teachers and ministers who have a been involved in the ministry for an extensive period of time.
1.First year - One Year Bible Training Course (Certificate Course) divided in Three Curriculum.

2.First year - One Year Bible Training Course (Certificate Course) divided in Three Curriculum.

The First Curriculum offers studies in Faith, Prayer, Authority
Of the Believer, Redeemed from the Curses of the Law, Holy
Spirit, Soul Winning, Blood Covenant, Principles of Receiving,
Gifts of the Spirit, Fruit of The Spirit, Praise and Worship

Second Curriculum offers Studies in Ministry Gifts, Pentateuch, Bible Introduction, Financial Management, Old Testament Survey, Counselling, Church Planting, Homiletics I

Third Curriculum Offers Studies in Christian Leadership, Bible Doctrine, New Testament Survey, The Life Of Christ, Practical Evangelism and Harmony Of The Gospels.

3.2nd Year – Advanced Diploma Courses divided into four Trimesters

1st Trimester LAYWORKERS COURSE,
2nd Trimester CHRISTIAN EDUCATION COURSE,
3rd Trimester MINISTERIAL COURSE
4th Trimester Continuation of the MINISTERIAL COURSE

The Costs of the books for Diploma each trimester is KShs. 2,500 and registration is 200 each trimester.

4.We offer a Degree Programme Course as Vocational Studies every two weeks in April, August and December for tree years. You must have gone through all the other Trimesters to qualify.

After finishing the course, we send you back to your church or ministry to help in the Lord’s work. We offer No Job Opportunities.

The school takes care of all academic requirements for you. We offer room and bed only to those students who plan to Board. Each boarder has to take care of his or her own meals plus all other personal requirements. Therefore, you should have the following if you plan to board. Mattress, Bedding, Stove, Cooking and Eating Utensils together with enough Pocket Money to take care of all your personal needs. A student won’t be allowed in school if he or she is lacking any of these things.

For those students who have their own accommodation (Day Scholars), all you are required to have is a Pen, Notebook and a Bible.

Since 1988 over 1600 people have attended BBS. Over 75 percent of our graduates serve the Lord in career ministry. The Alumni Office has an active role in uniting former students for spiritual fellowship..
